Kelsey and Kyle were married on September 6th with a ceremony and reception at the Boston Public Library.
My second shooter, Joe Gonzalez-Dufresne, and I met up with this beautiful couple at Fairmont Copley Plaza. Joe hung out with the guys, and I was with the girls—and I definitely had the most fun! While we were getting ready, Kyle’s niece, Cassidy, started a dance party, and everyone did the Whip/Nae Nae.
Then, Kelsey’s dad saw her for the first time, and emotions were running high as he gave her a gorgeous necklace. We headed over to the library for a quick first look—but not before Kelsey got in a quick dance with some street performers out front!
I think I got one of my favorite images from this wedding. Bates Hall (and the library in general) is such a unique place, and I loved the photo of Kyle dipping Kelsey! I’ve said before in their engagement shoot that they are just so natural—I think I would fall flat on my back if I tried that!
At the reception, their first dance was incredibly romantic. One of the groomsmen sang their wedding song live, which was beautiful! But I think my favorite moment was being outside in the quiet, beautiful courtyard while the reception music was off in the distance at the end of the night as we took some formal pictures.
Thank you, Kyle & Kelsey, for allowing me to be a part of your amazing day! I wish you so much luck in your future together!
