About Me

Growing up as a photography teacher's daughter, I was never far away from the camera. I've always had a passion for photographing people and capturing the emotion in the moment.

I began working as a freelance photographer for local newspapers in New Jersey and the Boston area. I joined the staff of Seacoast Media Group in Portsmouth, NH in 2002 where I worked for five years. In 2006, I was named New Hampshire Press Photographer of the Year. I am currently a staff photographer at The Augusta Chronicle in Augusta, GA.

I photograph weddings and other special events in the same manner that I would photograph a newspaper assignment. In an unobtrusive, photojournalistic style, I allow the events of the day to unfold naturally. I feel that the photos produced should tell a story and illuminate the genuine moments of the day.
